This procedure describes the steps to follow to obtain a good quality 3D model for body (from abdomen to knees) using standard photos.
Make sure that you have taken the photos following the recommendations described in the article How to take body photos; tips and tricks.
- On the main menu on the left, select Patients.
- Select New patient.
By default, the name or ID of your patient is generated with the current date and time. You can edit it just by typing on it. - Select Body and Add Patient.
- Measure your patient's hip circumference and enter the value on the field provided.
Observe that accepted values are between 40 and 200 centimetres. This value must be as accurate as possible. - Select Select photos to upload, one by one, the body photos.
An operating system window opens to select the images stored in your device. - Upload the photos in the order described: Left, Front, Right, Back.
You must follow the order defined. Otherwise, your body 3D model will be wrong and you will have to repeat the process.
If you uploaded the wrong photo or are not happy with it, use the Trash icon to remove it. - Select Create your 3D.
Wait until the 3D model is generated. This may take a while. - Analyse the quality and accuracy of the 3D model generated.
For that, you can rotate the model sideways and up and down.- Select No if you do not like the quality of the 3D model.
Select new photos and upload them one by one and select Recreate 3D. - Select Yes if you think the quality of the 3D model is good.
Your screen is split in two: the "before" model is on the left, while, on the 3D model to the right, you can start with the simulation process.
- Select No if you do not like the quality of the 3D model.
You have created a body 3D model for a specific patient and can start with the simulation process.
