When sharing 3D simulations on social media, websites, or other public platforms, it's essential to ensure that patient privacy is fully protected.
Crisalix offers dedicated privacy tools to help doctors share content confidently and in compliance with local and platform-specific regulations.
Follow these steps to maintain patient privacy:
- Apply Eye Covers (Face simulations)
Click the eye icon on the left toolbar to activate Eye Covers. This will automatically cover the patient’s eyes with a customizable logo, helping conceal identity.
To customize the logo, go to Business Platform > Settings > Simulator.
- Use Nipple Covers (Breast simulations)
Before recording or capturing screenshots of breast simulations, make sure to activate nipple covers. This feature places a logo over the nipples and is required for compliance when sharing on Facebook and Instagram, which do not allow nudity.
The logo can also be customized from Business Platform > Settings > Simulator..
- Preview Before Sharing
After recording, use the Preview window to review the content.
Make sure all sensitive areas are appropriately covered.
- Download or Share
You can either download the video or screenshot and share them directly to your Facebook and Instagram professional accounts.
If the simulation includes uncovered breast content, it will still be downloadable but cannot be shared publicly via Crisalix's platform.
By following these steps, you ensure all shared materials maintain patient privacy, align with social media guidelines, and reflect a professional and responsible online presence.
